Interior steel is cleaned, primed and painted before being covered with aluminum sign cladding components to prevent rust and staining. In addition, aluminum signs are orbitally sanded, acid etched and zinc chromate primed for maximum bonding. Finally, they are top coated with Acrylic Polyurethane for superior weather, impact and abrasion resistance. Aluminum sides and backs are welded together, not stapled or riveted. This results in longer life and lower maintenance. Our Neon signs are furnished with the finest Eurocom brand electrodes, processed on a Eurocom manifold system and filled with Eurocom gasses which yield greater visibility and extended life. Transformers are selected by metering resistance of the neon on each circuit and are tested for low voltage “flicker free” operation to ensure reliable lighting when voltage drops occur. Sign wiring is designed to meet National Electric Codes and Underwriters Laboratories specifications and carry UL and union labels, as required.
